Tick Bite?
So you suspect or know you have been bitten by a tick. Here are some things to watch for:
There are a variety of symptoms that may show up within 30 days after a bite:
ANY rash… Anywhere
It does not have to be near the site of the bite.

It may have the well known ‘bull’s eye’ appearance…
but it can appear quite different…
or there can be
NO rash at all!
Rashes occur in less than half of all people with Lyme disease.
Joint Pain or Body Aches
Body aches, often (but not always) knees are the first to experience symptoms… be particularly aware if there is no known strain or injury
Flu-like illness
Fever, fatigue, headaches, especially if no one else in your house is sick or it is a time of year that it isn’t common to have flu.
If you have these symptoms… even if you are not sure that you were bitten (remember how tiny they are, you may not have even known you were bitten)… SEE YOUR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER.
